Design Brief: Create an industry acceptable "mailable" mailer with the subject being a current public health issue with the information being geared toward college students using expressive typography and no more than 30% imagery.
Deliverables: Mailer with full poster on back side, instagram slides, and t-shirt design
My thoughts: I immediately wanted to do this project on the topics of mental health. As someone who has mental health issues and has several loved ones who suffer with any mental illness the topic has always been near and dear to my heart. My approach to this project changed several times as I wasn't sure what aspect to mental health that I wanted to focus on. I finally decided on growth, and after looking at statistics thought about how I feel that many people don't know where to start in terms of finding the services that they need, so I wanted to focus on that. All in all I really liked working on this project because of the aspects of typography that I was allowed to use and I hope to be able to do more things like it in the future. This project really pushed me in to the direction of social design that I look forward to working in in the future.
